Shooting Near Eagles Parade
Shortly after posting our game day highlights and celebrating the Eagles win; we were informed that two young women were shot near the Eagles parade and are now in stable condition. The shooting occurred shortly after the Eagles' victory speeches [1]. We are deeply saddened that such a victorious and fun day has been interrupted by the gun violence that has been plaguing our city. We extend our deepest sympathies to the victims, their families, and everyone affected by this tragic incident. What should have been a day of celebration and unity for our city has been overshadowed by senseless violence. Our thoughts are with those recovering, and we stand in solidarity with our community as we continue to advocate for safety and change. No celebration should be marred by fear, and we hope for a future where moments of joy are not disrupted by tragedy.
