ACLU PA, Urbed, and Alliance For Philadelphia Public Schools V. School District Of Philadelphia

With UrbEd and APPS, the PA ACLU filed a lawsuit against the Board of Education challenging the board’s new policy limiting the number of speakers and the length of comments during the public comment period at board meetings.

Empowering Student Representatives

Student Representatives on the board serve over 200,000 students but don’t have a vote on policy.

Reimagining School Safety & Health

Black and Brown students are arrested and suspended at the highest rate both nationwide and in Pennsylvania.
