Dan worked as a Youth and Community Development Specialist with the United States Peace Corps in the Middle East managing a youth center on the Jordanian/Syrian border from 2005-2007. Upon returning to Philadelphia, Dan worked as a refugee resettlement case manager, working with survivors of torture and trauma with a focus on refugees who are most at-risk such as the LGBT+ and religious minority communities. For the next decade, Dan utilized his skill set in service of the City of Philadelphia on a variety of initiatives; from gun violence reduction and community outreach strategies to building the City's philanthropic relationships. Currently, Dan acts as a consultant and connector working with clients to sustainably build relationships and capacity.
