Organizers! Youth-Centered Organizations! Young People! And Students…. Consider reserving the UrbEd Youth Space for your next event or meeting. A collaborative workspace, individual working spaces, and more, the entire UrbEd Inc. team has worked to create a space that could be a site of change, community building, and radical imaginings… The entire UrbEd, Inc. family is excited to be welcoming all organizations and Philly young people to operate, create, build, and be in community in our new office space: 1521 Locust St, Suite 1001, in the heart of Center City. Our process of occupying and creating a transformative site is reflective of our process of taking up space, of demanding we are heard, and of giving young people the tools to act and make change. From painting murals, to assembling IKEA furniture all night, this has brought us back together. Providing an accessible space, restroom, hygiene products, and relevant advocacy programming out of it, the UrbEd Office is becoming the location where Philadelphia is transformed.
